My Words -
![]()
This website is all about the words. Old words, new words, my words, and other writers’ words carefully chosen, beautifully written.
I write and these are my pages. Sometimes I'm sentimental, sometimes I'm sassy and, occasionally, a little scary, but I'm just getting started.
Within these pages, I have attempted to create a labyrinth of symmetry and beauty; it is something I am compelled to do. I cannot stray from this path or turn back and invite you to join me in making this a very dynamic and successful place for writers—and those of us who just love the perfect turn of phrase—to share our favorite words and together we will see where our journey leads.
Here's looking at you, PJ
In Other Words -
I love collecting quotations, stories, snippets, and snaps from writers hidden in their letters, books, and lyrics and since we are talking about words, I think this is a great place to display them. - PJ
Letterpress is the beginning of a collection of correspondence by the written word. Perhaps a love letter, perhaps something much simpler, but all with words, carefully chosen, beautifully written.
Maxwell Perkins, Editor, is a collection of quotes and snippets by William Maxwell Evarts Perkins (1884-1947), editor in chief at Scribner's Publishing Company. His many contributions to the literary world include the discovery of F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Wolfe, Marjorie Kinnan-Rawlings, and many other writers of the early 20th century. His page is starting off small, but with research will grow in time.
The Erasmus Pages is a site dedicated to Desiderius Erasmus (1466-1536); the heart, soul, and pen of the Renaissance.
Writers on Writing is a year of writer's quotations and is almost complete. Curious about a writer who was born on your birthday? Check it out. Have a favorite author? Send me the name and I will make every effort to find a writing quote and share it on his or her birthday.
